A very very hot day.
The rainy season finished and it became real summer.
Trip to Nara where the deers are wildly living in the main park area.
At the Nara National Museum, there was exhibition of "Creatures of Faith".
The exhibition has all manner of animals and mythical beasts appearing in Buddhist art. Why do so many creatures inhabit the worlds of Buddhas and Shinto deities? That is the question.
The space is set up so adults and children alike can share the excitement of looking at the works. As a first step in familiarizing yourself with Buddhist art, please enjoy the works to the fullest.
